The Oprah Winfrey Show has stayed popular for two reasons. One is that no one can deny her true compassion she has for people and the other is that she constantly features episodes on relevant and interesting topics. Many Oprah Winfrey Show topics center around religion and God. While I could care less about what one person believes apparently the evangelical supporters only believe in one way of doing things and they do not like what Oprah has said about her religious beliefs leading them to collaborate in a nationwide publication effort to thwart her open views.

23 evangelical newspapers ran an article called Oprah’s God that attacked her for not following the rules of biblical Christianity. Who cares, right? Not the case for these religious nuts who have featured one of her most infamous quotes (in their minds) from the Oprah Winfrey Show, “There are many paths to God (kansascity.com).”

While you and me consider this a logical and well minded answer it pushed the Evangelical society to write a country wide attack on Oprah. The clip above makes me sick and shows how close minded fanatics can be.

<img title="Orpah Winfrey Show" alt="oprah winfrey show" Winfrey Show" src="http://www.moguling.com/Upload/247oprah.com/Op.jpg" />The Oprah Winfrey is the highest rated talk show in United States television history. The Oprah Winfrey Show has also been on the air longer than any other daytime show on TV. The first episode of the Oprah Winfrey Show aired on September 8, 1986. British people watch the Oprah Winfrey Show, too. I recall my mother enjoying it on a regular basis when I was younger. My elder sister still watches it religiously. I have also watched the Oprah Winfrey Show on more than one occasion. The Oprah Winfrey Show is not just popular with American stay-at-home mothers. It has reached across cultures and generations. The popular subjects that Oprah discusses on her show are of universal interest. Unfortunately, Oprah’s contract ends in 2011, and she has no plans to renew it. The day show ends in 2011 will be a sad occasion. People of all ages all over the world will feel that they have lost a very good friend. If you like Oprah and enjoy the subjects she discusses on her show, I recommend that you watch it while you still can.

http://www.247oprah.com/2008/June/Lessons-To-Be-Learned-from-the-Oprah-Winfrey-Biography.htm

                                            <img title="Oprah Winfrey Biography" alt="oprah winfrey biography" Winfrey Biography" src="http://www.moguling.com/Upload/247oprah.com/oprah-winfrey-show.jpg" />
Have you ever read an Oprah Winfrey biography? There is a short Oprah Winfrey biography on the Wikipedia website. When I read Wikipedia’s Oprah Winfrey biography, I realized that she did not have an easy childhood. On January 29 1954, Oprah Winfrey was born in rural Mississippi to a poor and unmarried adolescent mother. She was raised in the inner city of Milwaukee. Oprah Winfrey was raped when she was just nine years old. When she was fourteen, Oprah gave birth to a son who died in infancy. Having endured such a traumatic childhood, many people would not be able to function well as an adult. However, Oprah Winfrey’s biography teaches us all a very valuable lesson. Instead of allowing her pain to destroy her, Oprah Winfrey has used it to help other people and in doing so became one of the richest women in the United States today. The Oprah Winfrey biography is the story of a very brave woman who struggled against hardship and subjugation and won. Oprah’s life story shows us that we should never give up on our dreams or aspirations, even when life throws the most difficult of challenges our way.

I normally do not watch the Oprah Winfrey Show as this is not in my realm of TV viewing interests but my daughter and grandchildren stopped by for a visit last week and she tuned in the Oprah Winfrey Show. I actually found myself watching the show with interest as the guest on this show was Barbara Walters. During this Oprah Winfrey Show, Barbara Walters was telling all about her extra-marital affairs with various men and the questions ask by Oprah were quite direct and to the point. I have to admit I watched this Oprah Winfrey Show with more than a casual interest as Barbara Walters spilled out the stories of her many affairs including one with a congressman that occurred many years ago. At the time, Walters and the congressman were both married yet they had an affair due to,, as Barbara Walters put it "because I was so fascinated and attracted to this man." Well, I suppose if you do not have any morals this is as good a reason as any to commit adultery and while I do not agree with her explanations or reasoning for cheating on her spouse, I also realize we are all human and make mistakes. All in all, this was a very interesting Oprah Winfrey Show.

Her show has excellent content, and on June 17, Oprah will air a show on past lives. The Oprah Winfrey Show is going to take this hot potato issue and see if there is anything behind the theory of reincarnation. This is one I hope to watch, because I've always wondered about it myself. There is quite a long story about the show, which has already been recorded on Oprah.com, and it is very interesting to speculate that our spirits do come back in a physical form, ready to learn from a new life experience.

This Oprah Winfrey Show is bound to create some controversy, especially from people whose belief systems are either totally rational or the opposite, completely fundamental. I like the way that the presenter, Dr. Brian Weiss, handles the issue: he says that the spirit of God is in everyone, and believing in reincarnation is completely compatible with all the world's religions. Dr. Oz will also make an appearance on this show. It's bound to be a good one. Tune in.

Sometimes I visit Oprah.com to see what is coming up on the Oprah Winfrey Show. Oprah discusses all kinds of subjects. The Oprah Winfrey show makes compelling viewing because the topics and guests are so diverse. The subjects up for discussion on the Oprah Winfrey Show are relevant. She discusses the things the public are most interested in at any given time. For example, the topic for today’s Oprah Winfrey show is the polygamist compound in Texas. Lisa Ling will give a special report on polygamy and talk about girls who are forced to marry at the tender age of 14.
Fortunately the topics up for discussion on the Oprah Winfrey Show aren’t always so serious. She can be lighthearted too. On tomorrow’s show Oprah will feature Tom Bergeron, the host of America’s Funniest Home Videos. He will discuss his all time favorite videos. It’s good to know that Oprah is as well balanced as the rest of us. She can be serious when necessary but she also knows how to laugh. No wonder the Oprah Winfrey Show has been popular for so many years.

It seems that this stalwart woman has come from a background that way too many human beings can relate to. It is so sad to me that an Oprah Winfrey childhood has to be lived by any child. She did not come from a very caring family and she was very poor with few physical comforts to relieve the loneliness or discomfort. I have watched the Oprah Winfrey show when she is discussing her childhood experiences with others who have shared a similar upbringing and it is interesting to see how Oprah has grown into such an advocate of children. By discussing her Oprah Winfrey childhood experiences she has helped to open the eyes of society to the tragic circumstances that some of society's children are being raised in. Oprah has made it one of her goals to help improve the life and upbringing of as many children as she can reach. Hopefully each one of us has learned from her example and we all make an effort to make someone's childhood easier and more enjoyable to grow through.

When topic on the Oprah Winfrey show involves self-empowerment, life stories or relationship analysis, it can be rather interesting to watch. However, I am not sure how I feel about what is on the Oprah Winfrey Show agenda this coming Wednesday. On April 30, David Blaine is scheduled to attempt to break the underwater breath holding world record live on the Oprah Winfrey show. In order to beat the world record, Blaine must hold his breath for more than 16 minutes and 14 seconds. I wonder how this is humanly possible. However, Blaine has allegedly been through months of training in preparation for the event. In order to accomplish this feat, Blaine risks serious health complications and could even die. Of course, Blaine performs the stunt at his own risk. However, what would happen if tragedy befell him? I don’t think I will be tuning in to the Oprah Winfrey show on Wednesday. I couldn’t stand to see the outcome if things did not go according to plan.

When Miley Cyrus, star of the hit Disney Channel show Hannah Montana, appeared on The Oprah Show, she surprished some of her biggest fans. Miley Cyrus is a television actress, a singing sensation, a mogul worth millions—and she's only 15! Miley Cyrus stars in the smash hit Disney Channel sitcom Hannah Montana along with her dad, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus. An average teenage girl by day, Miley's character Miley Stewart leads a secret double life. At night, she dons a blonde wig and transforms into international rock star Hannah Montana. Miley is a real-life multi-platinum recording artist, as well, selling out tours across the nation. At age 15, Miley—the daughter of country crooner Billy Ray Cyrus—has already accomplished a lot, skyrocketing to stardom on Hannah Montana.

Miley Cyrus is a true pop culture phenomenon. From books and clothes to purses and guitars. She even has a feature film in the works! And Miley doesn't just play a rock star on TV—she is a multiplatinum recording artist in real life. So much is going on and changing, for Miley says. "But she is having so much fun, and she says that she has been really blessed to work with all the people that she gets to work with."

When she's not taping television shows or spending long nights on the tour bus, Miley enjoys doing the same things as other girls her age. She loves being with her friends. Because she works so much, she mostly does sleepovers and hangs out and plays guitar." Miley says most of her life is just like an average teenager's—she even gets an allowance, and gets treated like a normal kid.

Despite her rock star status, Miley says she thinks she has even less freedom than most kids her age. She has and an earlier curfe, just because she can't be out too late. Her mom wants to keep her really safe, says her dad's not overly protective, but he's a dad no matter what.

She may enjoy the screaming adoration of her fans, but what matters most to Miley is her family. "No one messes with me and my family," she says. "We're so tight. They come first and foremost."

After Miley squeezes in some quality time with her family, it's all about the fans! Before the show, she signs autographs and chats with people lined up to meet her. "Seeing them out in the concert and hearing them sing every word of her songs," she says, that's the most rewarding and special thing that she sees in any of the shows."

Miley's not the first famous member of her family. Her dad, Billy Ray, topped the country charts in 1992 with his single "Achy Breaky Heart." Fifteen years later, his music career is still going strong with his new album Home at Last.

Billy Ray has found a different kind of popularity by playing Miley's TV dad in Hannah Montana. How does it feel to be the real-life father of a teenage phenomenon? "When he read the script [for Hannah Montana], he felt like it was very well written, and I felt like Miley was Hannah Montana and Hannah Montana was Miley," Billy Ray says. "Together they make a really strong package."

Between taping the show and singing together, Miley spends a lot of time with her dad. "It's fun," Miley says. "He's he best friend." But Miley says Billy Ray has an even closer friend, named Tex. Her dad's best friend is his best friend their dog," she jokes.
Miley is absolutely amazing! These dogs receive little or no veterinary care and never see a bed, a treat or a toy. After their fertility wanes, breeding animals are commonly killed, abandoned or sold to another mill. The annual result of all this breeding is hundreds of thousands of puppies, many with behavior and/or health problems.

Oprah had a couple on her show Lisa Ling and Bill, and they actually went out an investigated what happens in these puppy mills. They had a hidden camera and alot was shown in detail. According to the Humane Society of the United States, there may be as many as 10,000 puppy mills operating across the United States. Many of the dogs that are born in puppy mills end up in pet stores, or are sold on the internet. What puppy mills are doing is not legal. Lisa and Bill visited many puppy mills. They found Lab puppies' mother in a small mud-filled pen. Her teats are swollen because of the many litters of puppies. In another puppy mill they find 30 to 40 dogs in wire-floored rabbit cages stacked to the ceiling in a room that reeks of urine and feces. The worst thing they witnessed at one if the breeders' property is that he has dogs running on wheels in fan casings. Bill says. The contraptions look like big gerbil wheels. "[The breeder] claims that it's good for them because they get exercise," Bill says.At another breeder's facility, Lisa and Bill see outdoor cages that house scores of Pomeranians. Not only have those dogs probably never been out of those small cages, it's likely that they remain outside even in bad weather and could die from exposure.
The outcome is that Bill rescued dozens of dogs that he and Lisa visited in puppy mills. One reason puppy mill owners keep their dogs in such conditions is cultural. "They don't regard dogs in the same way that others may. They believe man is to dominate animals," Lisa says. "A number of them didn't seem like they realized that what they were doing was inhumane because in their culture … that is what they're supposed to be. And the fact is, there is a market for puppies in America." Thanks to Oprah, the cruelty of puppy mills is being brought into the spotlight. Oprah says "If you are thinking about adopting a new pet, make your first stop the local shelter or animal rescue office. "You can find any kind of dog you want, any age you want, at a shelter or rescue,"

Although I am a guy and most would think that watching the Oprah Winfrey show somehow breaks my oath to the male community, you are wrong, wrong, wrong.

Currently I don't have a TV and am sad to say that I miss watching the Oprah Winfrey show in my daily routine. At one time in the past, however, I did have a working television with a cable connection and was able to catch an episode before going to work in the afternoon.

Some of the episodes I saw were really interesting. Topics from health and weight management with star doctors and experts being interviewed to controversial things like the government, Big Brother and trackable chip implants in humans (there was this family, by the way, that was hosted because they were all implanted voluntarily because they felt "safer" from all the terrorists).

So, the Oprah Winfrey show is not just about hair and makeup and chocolate cake - it has some really decent topics that even men can find interesting. Besides, there's no telling what you'll get if you can connect with your girlfriend on that softer side by watching!

Fans of the Oprah Winfrey Show Notice Weight Gain

http://www.247oprah.com/2008/April/Fans-of-the-Oprah-Winfrey-Show-Notice-Weight-Gain.htm

<img title="Oprah Winfrey Show" alt="oprah winfrey show" Winfrey Show" src="http://www.moguling.com/Upload/247oprah.com/oprah.jpg" />Do you watch the Oprah Winfrey show? Anybody who watches the Oprah Winfrey show on a regular basis cannot help but notice that she has gained weight again. It’s easy to condemn Oprah for being overweight and imagine that she overindulges on cake or ice cream. However, the weight fluctuations observed by fans of the Oprah Winfrey show are not her fault. Apparently Oprah Winfrey has an under active thyroid gland. The thyroid is a butterfly shaped gland located in the neck. It produces a hormone called thyroid, which regulates the metabolism. Symptoms of an under active thyroid include weight gain, tiredness and constantly feeling cold. Thyroid problems are more common than most of us realize. In fact, if you have gained weight and have not been overeating, you may well have an under active thyroid. To find out if this is the case, ask your doctor to check the levels of thyroid hormone in your blood the next time you have your cholesterol checked out. When people gain weight, it is easy to condemn them and make hurtful comments. Oprah Winfrey is proof that not all weight gain is caused by excess eating. So the next time you watch the Oprah Winfrey show, don’t gloat that she put the weight back on. You never know if you will have thyroid problems too at some point in your life.

The Oprah Winfrey show is one of the most popular shows to date. How popular? The Oprah Winfrey Show is the highest rating talk show in the history of television. The Oprah Winfrey show has had 8 million viewers per original episode and 4.5 million for repeats.

Oprah herself has been ranked the richest African American woman in history and the most philanthropic African American of all time. According to some, Oprah is the most influential woman of the world.

It's easy to see how Oprah is the most influential woman. Oprah has been known for the "Oprah Effect". The "Oprah Effect" is essentially the phenomenon that anything Oprah endorses will sell. This is basically similar to the historical myth about "The Midas Touch" only that everything Midas touches turns gold and everything Oprah touches seems to turn green- or extremely successful. "The Oprah Effect" goes for both products and presidential candidates.

However, long before the Oprah Winfrey Show is a rags-to-riches tale about overcoming the obstacles. According to the Oprah Winfrey biography, Oprah Winfrey's childhood was a difficult one. She overcame both poverty, abuse, teenage pregnancy and the eventual death of her child.

What can we all learn from Oprah?

Oprah can be an inspiration to remind us that hard work leads to success and that it's possible to overcome difficult obstacles.

The Inspirational Oprah Winfrey Biography

http://www.247oprah.com/2008/March/The-Inspirational-Oprah-Winfrey-Biography.htm

The Oprah Winfrey biography is certainly one that tells a tale of hardship and perseverance. Long before the Oprah Winfrey Show and the Oprah Winfrey Network was a woman who survived a rough childhood.

Oprah Winfrey was not born with a silver spoon in her mouth. In fact, Oprah Winfrey childhood began in poverty in Mississippi. By the age of 9 she was sexually abused and raped. By the age of 14 she had become pregnant only to lose her son during infancy. Oprah Winfrey used what she had which was her natural intelligence in order to get a scholarship which helped her escape the ghetto Milwaukee suburb. She was accepted into a more academically rigorous high school school within the suburbs. She then received a scholarship into Tennessee State University, a historically black institution. Oprah studied communications, sending her on a path towards her success today.

The Oprah Winfrey biography is truly an inspirational tale of how an individual can overcome great odds, only to achieve international fame, wealth and success.

Hopefully, the Oprah Winfrey biography will prove that it's possible for a person to reach their potential, despite great odds.
